ABOUT AMY WILKINS

Amy grew up serving in the church through teaching Sunday school, leading kid’s worship, volunteering at various camps, leading JR high ministries and participating in a church dance team. She was born and raised in Oro Medonte and when she married in 2014 she moved to Washago with her husband Jon and became part of the church family at HOPE. Amy currently lives at Pioneer Camp with her husband Jon and son Elijah and is expecting another child in February 2021.

Amy has a Bachelor of Arts & Science of Primary Education. She worked with the Simcoe County School Board for two years before starting on staff here at HOPE. She has always had a passion for taking care of and teaching children of all ages.

It is Amy’s desire that kids look forward to coming to church and feel loved and safe in our programs. She wants them to be excited about their relationship with God and tell their friends about Jesus. Amy wants to use what God has taught her through teaching elementary school to further His kingdom through our Kids Church here at HOPE.

Amy enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her family and chatting with friends with a cup of coffee or tea by the water. She loves singing, dancing, baking, cooking, decorating and crafting and of course relaxing with her husband and watching Netflix!
